No Good Art or Literature in My Notebooks
I am humbled by the Moleskines, sketchbooks, journals and notepads of the talented individuals showcased on this blog. My own Moleskine is a functional, in-my-purse-at-all-times combination of random reminders, utilitarian recollections, scattered ideas (usually never fulfilled) and lists. As a reporter, I use a steno pad while working. It does not carry literature or art. So I am spellbound by the words and pictures put so naturally to paper by writers, artists and other interesting people.

I finished my Sketchbook Project, the very first time in my life I have sketched or painted anything, although I love art. As I watched all the fabulous pages go online from all the true talent out there, I must admit I felt kind of wimpy not even giving it a try. So I did, and this sketch is the one I feel most comfortable posting:
